The Art of Sydney

I began doing murals November of 2016. My church has a chalk wall, and before I started doing the murals, all the youth members would write their names on the wall. The interim youth minister at the time asked me to draw something on the wall, so I did a scene of some Peanuts characters for Thanksgiving. Since then, I have done eighteen chalk wall murals in total, and one mural in my eighth-grade teacher's classroom.

I love doing murals because creating massive drawings and paintings are fun. For six years, I have created big pieces of art that I cannot physically keep. The process teaches me patience, and the outcome teaches me that change is good.
