The Art of Sydney

​I started writing poetry as an outlet for whatever emotion I was feeling that was too difficult to speak out loud.

Trust placed second in the community division of Meridian Community College's The Scribbler literary journal short story and poetry competition; it is also published in the 2025 edition of the same name. Beautiful Sister (also called Beautiful) was published in The Phoenix Literary Journal Vol. 12 through the Mississippi School of the Arts literary program in 2020. Asylum won second place at the Mississippi Arts+Entertainment Experience slam poetry contest in 2018.
